Dr. Panine pursued his interest in cosmetic surgery and hair
restoration while in surgical residency at Stanford
University, followed by residency in dermatology with
emphasis on hair restoration. Dr. Panine has been
performing hair restoration procedures since the early 1990’
s. Over the last two decades he has performed over 3,000
procedures.
Dr. Panine utilizes his extensive cosmetic surgery and
dermatological training to perform state of the art
procedures with emphasis on natural and undetectable
hairlines. He also performs follicular unit extractions (FUE)
from scalp as well as other parts of the body (chest, axillae,
and abdomen) in patients with depleted donor area. He also
restores eye- brows, facial hair, as well as addresses special
situations (burn victims, triangular alopecia, patients after
trauma, and chemotherapy). Dr. Panine performs
trichophytic closure of the donor area. As well as scar
revision and correction of old “plug” procedures. Dr.
Panine also has extensive experience in female and ethnic
hair transplantation procedures.
He has a national reputation and is considered one of the
foremost surgeons in Medical and Surgical hair
restoration. His patients have nothing but praise and
compliments for his expertise, especially his ability to
reconstruct and develop natural hairlines that are
designed to complement each patient’s individual facial
structure.
Dr. Panine founded Chicago Hair Transplant Clinic (CHTC), a
leader in hair transplantation and where he perfected
ultra refined hair transplantation techniques. He has been
featured on national television, in newspapers, and
magazines.
Dr. Panine is board certified by the American Board of
Dermatology. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of
Dermatology and American Society for Dermatological
Surgery (ASDS), and a member of the American Society of
Cosmetic Dermatology and Aesthetic Surgery. He is an
active member of the International Society of Hair
Restoration Surgery and has attended ten meetings since
1993.
